The Pregnancy Pathology Unit receives and treats patients with complications of pregnancy at all stages, including patients with high-risk pregnancies due to concomitant diseases.
The Pregnancy Pathology Unit is part of the Gynaecology Department, located on the 3-rd floor of Nadezhda Hospital.
It treats patients with complications of pregnancy during all its stages, including patients with high-risk pregnancies, due to concomitant diseases and multiple pregnancies.
Their monitoring is carried out in close cooperation with other hospital units – Department of Prenatal Medicine, Department of Diagnostic Imaging, Clinical Laboratory, Microbiological Laboratory, the Internal Medicine Outpatient office.
Treatment of patients in the sector covers a large group of pathological conditions in pregnant women:
- Risk of early and late miscarriages
- Risk of preterm labor
- Hyperemesis (vomiting during pregnancy)
- Hypertensive pregnancy conditions
- Complications related to the presence of comorbidities – hypertension, diabetes, metabolic diseases
- Complications associated with multiple pregnancy
