Dr Bilyana Hristova

Head of Microbiology lab

Dr Bilyana Hristova graduated from Sofia Medical University in 1998. From 1998 to 1999, she has worked in the Emergency Care Unit – Kostenets. From 1999 to 2003, she was part of the team of the National Centre of Transfusion Hematology. From 2004 to 2015, she worked in the Microbiology Laboratory at St. Ekaterina University Hospital. In 2011, she was conferred a specialty in Clinical Microbiology.

Since 2015, she has been the head of the Microbiology Laboratory at Nadezhda Hospital.

She is a member of the Bulgarian Association of Microbiologists and the European Association of Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases.
