Dr Boyan Pavlov

Dr Boyan Pavlov is the Head of the Diagnostic Imaging Department at Nadezhda and a proven specialist with over 30 years of experience in the field of Diagnostic Imaging with a focus on MRI and CT. Since 2016, he has headed the Diagnostic Imaging Department of Nadezhda Hospital and introduced non – invasive imaging for early diagnosis and prevention of bladder and colon diseases, which are performed using CT – virtual cystoscopy and virtual colonoscopy.

 

He worked at the Diagnostic Imaging Department of St Ivan Rilski Fifth City University Hospital, as a head of the Radiology Department at Doverie Hospital, as a consultant at the Imaging Department of the St Naum University Hospital of Neurology and Psychiatry. Since 2016, he was the head of the Diagnostic Imaging Department of Nadezhda Hospital and has introduced non – invasive imaging for early diagnosis and prevention of bladder and colon diseases, which are performed by using CT – virtual cystoscopy and virtual colonoscopy.

 

He has participated in numerous international congresses and scientific studies with a focus on the role of Diagnostic Imaging in the treatment of patients with urological diseases. He has co – authored scientific papers with the specialists of the Medical Oncology Clinic, which have been presented to the scientific community of the largest medical oncology congresses in the world – ESMO, ESTRO, etc.
