Dr Daniela Dimova

Dr Daniela Dimova graduated from Varna Medical University in 1982. From 1985 to 1989, she was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pathological Anatomy at Varna Medical University, Tolbuhin branch (now Dobrich). For 20 years, he was the head of the Pathohistology Laboratory at the Sheinovo Second Hospital of Obstetrics and Gynaecology – Sofia. Since 2013 she has joined the team of Nadezhda Hospital.

 

Dr Dimova was conferred a specialty in pathological anatomy in 1989 and a qualification degree in cytopathology in 2003.

 

Her main interests are in the field of oncogynaecological pathology, cervical precancer and cancer, placental disorders, and liquid-based cytology. Since 2010, she has been actively involved in liquid-based cytology and is one of the initiators of the development of this method in Bulgaria.

 

She holds a certificate for working worldwide with liquid-based cytology devices of the world – the famous American company “Hologic”, specialized in women’s healthcare.
