Dr Desislava Staneva

After graduating from the Sofia Medical University, Dr Staneva started working at Nadezhda Hospital as a specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology. In addition to the delivery unit, her work took her to the operating theatre, where she discovered her true calling – operative gynaecology. She says that this is where she wants to achieve her greatest success.

 

A few years ago, however, she also turned to another, relatively new specialty – aesthetic gynaecology and with the support of the team and management of Nadezhda Hospital, Dr D. Staneva  began to successfully develop this field at the healthcare institution. In her own words, medical circles underestimating aesthetic gynaecology is a mistake, as it has huge potential for successful non – invasive treatment of many changes in the women’s genital area.
