Dr Detelina Stoichkova

Dr Detelina Stoichkova is a graduate in medicine of Sofia Medical Academy. For 4 years, she worked as a paediatrician in the District Hospital of Montana (former Mihaylovgrad). From 1987 to January 2013, she was a neonatologist at Tina Kirkova First Obstetrics and Gynaecology Hospital “Tina Kirkova” (currently St Sofia Hospital), and from 2007 to 2013 she was the head of the Neonatology Department.

 

D. Stoichkova, M.D. is a specialist with a proven track record, many years of experience caring for the youngest patients – newborns. She has been a part of the team of Nadezhda Hospital since its establishment in 2013, and the neonatology department she heads has the highest level of competence – level III, which cares for low and extremely low birth weight babies (under 1,200 grams).
