Dr Dochka Kavkova graduated from Sofia Medical University in 1996. Soon afterwards, she started working at the Cardiology Department of First City Hospital. There she completed her specialization in Internal Medicine. After being granted the specialty, she continued working in the Intensive Cardiology Sector of the hospital.

In the period 2009 – 2013, she specialized in cardiology at St. Ekaterina University Hospital. She has experience in performing functional cardiology tests – veloergometry, Holter ECG and BP monitoring.
