Dr Galina Chakandrakova

Dr Galina Chakandrakova graduated in 2014 from Plovdiv Medical University, where she subsequently acquired her specialty.

 

From 2014 to 2019, she was a junior resident physician at the ENT department of Plovdiv Multiprofie Hospital. In 2017 – 2018 she was also an on-call physician at the ENT department of Pulmed University Hospital.

 

Since the beginning of 2021 she has been a doctor of ENT diseases at Laura Medical Centre.

 

Dr Chakandrakova is a specialist in the diagnosis and treatment of ENT diseases and emergency conditions in outpatients and hospitalized patients, where she does full-time and on-call clinical duty.

 

The diagnostic work she performs is in the field of otoscopy, anterior and posterior rhinoscopy, pharyngoscopy, indirect laryngoscopy, anterior and posterior nasal tamponade; Eustachian tube examination; tympanometry and audiometry; nasal endoscopy, foreign body diagnosis.

 

Her operating theatre practice involves performing and assisting with otorhinolaryngologic and maxillofacial surgical interventions; primary and secondary treatment, dressing and suturing of head and neck trauma and injuries, nasal fracture repair, foreign body removal, tonsillectomy and adenotomy, incision and drainage of peritonsillar abscess, tracheostomy and cricotomy; excision of benign head and neck lesions, laryngeal and microlaryngeal surgical procedures.
