Dr Iva Sarbyanova

Dr Iva Sarbyanova graduated from the Medical Faculty of the Medical University of Sofia with a Master’s Degree Diploma as a Medical Doctor in 1999. From 2000 to 2010, she worked as an anaesthesiologist – resuscitator at the Central Intensive Care Unit with a central operating theatre at Pirogov Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment and Emergency Medicine. From 2009 to 2013, she was an anaesthesiologist at Doctor Malinov Hospital. She has been working at Nadezhda Hospital ever since the establishment of the healthcare institution in 2013.

 

Her professional interests are focused on intensive care for pregnancy complications, resuscitation complications related to assisted reproduction methods, as well as antibiotic prophylaxis and therapy.

 

Dr Sarbyanova is the head of the hospital’s antibiotic policy group, which works to reduce the development of antibiotic resistance.
