Dr Kristina Chacheva

Head of Prenatal diagnosis and fetal therapy Department

Dr Chacheva studied medicine in Bonn, Germany. She worked and specialized at one of the largest prenatal diagnostic and therapy centres, located at the University Clinic of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Bonn. She was conferred a specialty in obstetrics and gynaecology and the specialty of obstetrics and perinatal medicine, which has a smaller scope. Subsequently she became the head of the prenatal diagnostics department of a large clinic in Hamburg. She became part of the team of Nadezhda Hospital in 2014.

Dr Chacheva is Bulgaria’s leading specialist in prenatal diagnosis and therapy. Part of her work is also related to performing intrauterine surgeries, and because of her, many babies get another chance at life.
