Dr Nencho Kondov

Dr Nencho Kondov graduated in Medicine from the Medical University of Sofia in 2000. From 2002 to 2007, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anatomy at the same university, where he also obtained his first specialty. He completed his residency in Urology at University Emergency Hospital “N. I. Pirogov” and became a certified urologist in 2011.

Dr Kondov obtained a medical license and practiced for one year as a physician in the United Kingdom. Since 2015, upon invitation by Prof. Neykov, he has been working as a urologist at the University Specialized Hospital for Active Treatment in Oncology (USBALO), where he continues to practice.

In March 2023, at the invitation of Nadezhda Hospital, Dr. Kondov joined the team. He provides consultations and advanced treatment for male reproductive disorders, including microsurgical interventions for obstructive and non-obstructive azoospermia: epididymal techniques – MESA, MIESA (minimally invasive epididymal sperm aspiration), OFNA, PESA – and testicular techniques – conventional TESE, microdissection TESE (md-TESE), SST, TESA, NAB, Tru-Cut biopsy.

He also performs diagnosis and treatment of male genitourinary diseases and female urinary tract disorders, applying modern methods for therapy and prevention, as well as diagnosis and management of oncological and precancerous conditions of the urogenital system.

Dr Kondov has specialized in Greece, Spain, and Germany. Between January and March 2019, in Heilbronn, he obtained certification in laparoscopic and robot-assisted surgical procedures with the Da Vinci Xi system in the field of urology. He also holds certifications in ultrasonography and in working in environments with ionizing radiation.

His scientific interests focus on minimally invasive, ultrasound-guided procedures. He is a regular participant in national and international scientific forums. He is an active member of the Bulgarian Medical Association, the Bulgarian Urological Association, the European Association of Urology (EAU), and the European Academy of Andrology (EAA).
