Dr Petrana Petrova-Marinova

Dr Petrana Petrova – Marinova is a specialist in paediatric diseases and paediatric neurology, with many years of experience in outpatient and clinical paediatrics. She has extensive knowledge and interests in the field of child health and prevention, paediatrics, and paediatric neurology – epileptology, behavioural disorders and autism spectrum disorders. She is board certified in paediatric disease and paediatric neurology techniques: EEG, EMG, transfontal ultrasonography, and ultrasound of abdominal and superficial structures.

 

She is a graduate in medicine, class of 2000. She was conferred a specialty in paediatric diseases by Sofia Medical University in 2006, and in 2011 she was conferred a specialty in paediatric neurology by Sofia Medical University. In the period between 2002 and 2006, she was a specialist and resident physician at the Department of Paediatric Diseases at the Medical University. From December 2006 to 2020, she worked at the Children’s Clinic of Tokuda Hospital, Sofia.

 

Dr Petrana Petrova – Marinova participated in national and international forums for postgraduate studies, she has participated in congresses and symposia.

 

She is a member of the BMA, BPA, and BDDN.
