Dr Svetoslava Nankinska

Dr Svetoslava Nankinska graduated from the Medical University of Pleven in 2008. Following graduation, she began her professional career as a clinical resident at the Department of Neonatology at University Hospital “Georgi Stranski” in Pleven. From 2013 to 2020, she also worked as a physician at the Neonatology Clinic of the Specialized Hospital for Active Treatment of Children “Prof. Ivan Mitev”, where she obtained her specialty certification in Neonatology. In 2024, she commenced additional specialty training in Pediatrics. Since June 2013, she has been a member of the medical team at Nadezhda Hospital.

She has completed specialized courses in transfontanellar ultrasonography, cardiopulmonary resuscitation of newborns, neonatal neuromonitoring, and surfactant therapy for extremely preterm infants in Vienna.

Dr. Nankinska’s professional interests are focused on intensive care for high-risk newborns and their long-term follow-up.

She is a member of the Bulgarian Association of Neonatology and the Bulgarian Medical Association.
