Dr Valentina Tomova
neonatologist, paediatrician
Dr Valentina Tomova graduated from Sofia Medical University in 1998. After graduation, she worked at the University Children’s Hospital – Sofia as a clinical resident, and from 2002 to 2020 – as a doctor at the Clinic of Neonatology. From 2007 to 2020 she was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Pediatrics, Sofia Medical University.
She has recognized specialties in Pediatric Diseases since 2005 and in Neonatology since 2010. In 2020, she successfully defended her PhD Thesis.
Dr Tomova has completed courses in transfontanal and abdominal ultrasonography at Sofia Medical University.
She has participated in national and international scientific forums in neonatology and has also authored publications in the specialized press.
Dr Tomova is a member of the Bulgarian Association of Neonatology.
