Dr Viktoria Spasova

Dr Viktoria Spasova graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 2016, and in 2022 she obtained a specialty in Medical Genetics.

From 2017 to 2022 she worked as an Assistant Professor, and since 2022 she has been a Senior Assistant Professor at the Department of Medical Genetics, Medical University of Sofia.

Her scientific interests and publications are mainly focused on reproductive genetics, women’s health, expression analysis, socially significant diseases, and oncogenetics.

Dr. Spasova is the author of more than 30 scientific publications, co-author of three textbooks and two study guides for medical students. She is also the editor of “MSQs in Medical Genetics and Genomics for Medical Students”.

She is a member of the Bulgarian Society of Human Genetics and Genomics and the European Society of Human Genetics (ESHG).
