Ivan Pavlov

Ivan Pavlov, PhD, graduated from the Faculty of Biology at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in 2013 with a Master’s degree in Cell Biology and Pathology. He obtained his PhD in Immunology from the Medical University of Sofia in 2018. He worked as a biologist at the Central Microbiology Laboratory of Alexandrovska University Hospital and completed his specialty training in Laboratory Microbiology at the Medical University of Sofia in 2025. Since 2026, he has been a biologist at the Research Laboratory of Nadezhda Women’s Health Hospital.

His research interests focus on personalized medicine, immunology, and the interaction between the immune system and the microbiome, with particular emphasis on developing innovative diagnostic approaches and strategies to improve reproductive health.
