When you meet the right person, time loses its importance and gives way only to Love. And when love brings together two beautiful souls, goodness and hope are born – forces that change lives and make the world a brighter place.
Last week, a young family surprised us with a wonderful gesture. They donated BGN 600 collected at their wedding in support of Nadezhda’s mission. We thank them from the bottom of our hearts.
Although they will not be able to join us at our celebration at St. Mina Monastery because they are currently on their honeymoon, we promise them a special place in our hearts and in our prayers on this meaningful day. Their gesture is deeply connected to this very celebration.
Here is what they shared with us:
“Hello, we are Dilyana and Zhivko Mihaylovi, both 38 years old and from Varna.
Zhivko is a merchant marine captain, and I, Dilyana, work in administration. We have been together for less than a year, but when you meet the right person, everything falls naturally into place. We got married on August 23 this year, and we are very happy.
The idea of making a donation came to us as soon as we decided to get married and set a wedding date. We ourselves are facing the struggle of trying to have a child, and we know how difficult that journey can be. Yet when someone reaches out a helping hand, the burden becomes a little lighter. We are fortunate to have the support of my parents, but we know that many other couples are not so lucky.
And what could be more meaningful on our wedding day, as we enter into a sacred union surrounded by our closest family and friends, than supporting a cause that helps miracles happen and children come into the world?
For us, Nadezhda is a place where you enter the battle not alone, but supported by the hands of many people devoted to a noble cause. It is also the place where we made the decision that we truly wanted to be together – in good times and in bad. Nadezhda brought hope back into our hearts.
We wish all of you good health so that you can fully enjoy all the colours of life.
And to those who are fighting the same battle as we are – the battle for a child – do not lose your hope. May your efforts be crowned with success!”
Once again, thank you.
And we look forward to welcoming you on September 28 at 2:00 PM at St. Mina Monastery for our celebration.
