- What happens once you enter the delivery room?
- What types of contractions exist – preparatory, labor, postpartum – and how to recognize true labor contractions and the onset of delivery?
- What occurs during the different stages of labor and how long does each last – cervical dilation, delivery of the baby, delivery of the placenta, bonding?
- How to breathe and push correctly?
- How labor progresses with and without epidural anesthesia?
- When is an episiotomy required, depending on tissue elasticity and the baby’s size?
- How to prepare the pelvic floor muscles for an easier birth, when to start, and are there any contraindications?
- What birthing positions can be taken during delivery?
- What can be done if the baby is in breech presentation?
